Visit a park close to the city center in order to enjoy the beauty of nature and feed small residents of the area :)
Being situated in a peaceful neighbourhood near the main street of Lodz and one of the biggest shopping centers of the city Manufaktura, it is known as a perfect place to have a rest from noisy roads and crowded streets.
Interesting facts
- The park was established in 1880s' by sons of Carl Anstadt, the first brewery company founder in Lodz, and named after wives of two of his sons
- In 1885, Park Helenów was open for publics of the city, but only rich citizens could afford an entrance ticket that costed 30 cents
- Between the second half of 1880s' and the second half of 1900s' Park Helenów was one of the main places of visit for wealthy people in Lodz. Entrepeneurs from the whole city would come together in order to become live witnesses of flight of american balooner Charles Leroux, local Olympic Games organized by Sport Ligue, and the very first presentations of films with use of cinematograph of the Lumiere
- In one of the park's entrances you can see a monument exposed in honor of Soldiers of Polish Army, exposed in 2003
- Park Helenów is placed on a register of objects of cultural heritage of Poland.

Coordinates will bring you to a white sign close to the bridge. In this sign you'll have to gather the following information:
A - Sum of digits of the year that is written on the table. (For example, if the year is 1985, the sum of its digits is 1+9+8+5=23).
B - Number of times that the letter "z" appears on the sign.
