This is a cache and dash style traditional Geocache located in a layby next to the A369.
From this location you get a panoramic view out over the village of Pill to the Severn Estuary. On a clear day you can see the 'giraffe' cranes at Avonmouth docks, both Severn bridges, the M5 Avonmouth Bridge, the Bristol districts of Avonmouth, Shirehampton, Sea Mills and the Blaise Castle Estate and the North Somerset villages of Easton in Gordano, Pill, Ham Green and Abbotts Leigh.
The layby is home to several large potholes so be careful when driving in or out, it is also a popular rest stop for drivers so be prepared for muggles!
Edit: The potholes are all gone! There is now a new tarmac road surface so your car suspensions are safe for now.
