*gln: ARCHIVING ABANDONED CACHE

Looks like our timing is off and It’s time to say goodbye to this cache.

Since I haven't any maintenance here in a very long time, I am going to assume that your priorities have changed and you’ve gone in a different direction.

Let me know if I can be of assistance in the future.

Thanks a MILLION for all you have done, Glenn

Geocache Description:

You are looking for a small cap container near the edge of Tower Grove Park.  It shouldn't be too hard to spot as we wanted to put out a cache as similar to the original as we could, so no additional camouflage was added to the container.

cardsfan4 and LEchterWhite are placing this cache where it all began.

We had our first date at The Whiskey Ring on 2.12.14.  At some point in the evening, LEchterWhite began explaining geocaching and insisted we go out to find a cache.  There was a cache here at the time (GC36KP9 Tower Grove Gates - TGG) that we came and found together.  A year later on our anniversary, we came back to visit the cache.

On 2.12.16, we came back to the location once again on our anniversary, only this time, cardsfan4 had a surprise in store.  We went to dinner and then game to the park to visit our first date cache again, and after we found the cache, cardsfan4 proposed to LEchterWhite.  She said yes!  We went to The Whiskey Ring where all of our friends and family were waiting for us to help us celebrate.

When we noticed this space no longer had a cache, we wanted to place a cache in an important location for us!  We'd love to hear your stories on how you got started in geocaching or if there is a specific cache that is a special place for you!
