So: A friend of mine started out with a kitchen reno. It spread worse than the Zika virus. Bathroom. Living Room. Main floor. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
When it came time to do a couple of cuts for the trim on the north side of the kitchen, I measured the two cuts in centimetres:
121.92cm, then 146.144cm.
My reno buddy (let's call him "John" to protect the innocent... er... guilty) said, "Bro, have you seen how tiny a centimetre is?"
I said, "Yeah, but all of those fractions with the Imperial system are bonkers.
So I measured the two pieces of molding for the west side of the kitchen in centimetres as well:
144.78cm, then 139.824cm.
Evil John gives me the stink eye and says: "Centimetres. You must've been born under a rock. I'm still goin' with inches."
Suit yourself, I say.
Gotta love Home Improvements... :)
