Clover Bar School - CARW2018
With this years CARW having a ‘Back to Geo-School’ theme, we thought we would school everyone with some actual schools! These caches will give you some history on some of the schools in the Strathcona County / Sherwood Park area. We hope you enjoy being schooled!
The only history I know about Clover Bar Junior High School, is that is was another rival school to ScooterRichard. Clover Bar was another school that the F.R. Haythorne students had to compete against. Papa Crane of CraneFamily4 attended this school when he moved to Sherwood Park as a grade niner in 1984 (Can you do the math to figure how old he is?). He will never forget running “Worlds” and meeting friends that have lasted a lifetime.
Clover Bar school was built in 1972 to help keep up with the growing population in Sherwood Park. As new neighborhoods formed, schools, churches, and services followed closely behind.
This CARW2018 cache will be published prior to the CARW event.
