Geocaching can be great for your body. If you hike a lot, it will strengthen your heart, lungs and leg muscles at the very least. While you are looking for any cache, you are problem solving which helps to keep your mind alert. Over time, your entire body will benefit and become stronger and stronger. Pushing yourself a little more each time, will make your mind and body strong. The stronger you are, the less likely you will be to get knocked down. This is not always true, but I firmly believe that exercising and geocaching go hand in hand to make me stronger every day. I have good and bad days, but I have been known a few times to walk at least six miles in one day. I think that is great when after my pacemaker surgery I had to start at 1/2 mile at a time.
BYOP or two or three. You never know when one willl quit working or when you will loose one. Please beware of muggles as we don't want to loose this game piece. Please replace this cache as found so that the next person may enjoy this game as well.
