Forestry Museum Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Listed on the Register of National Estate in 1987, the former Museum Building was entered on the Commonwealth Heritage list in 2004.
Completed in 1938 , the building originally housed a museum with carpenters workshop, soils room, seeds room, papers room, and wood samples room.
The cache is a micro in size with a log sheet only. The building is vacant these days and this is a public road through here . Plenty of information is on the plaque of history. Parking is within 20m and a reminder this is a public road. Reception will be tricky with power lines, trees and walls. Stealth required. Please re-hide as found . Enjoy the history.
