Geocache Description:

The LEC is heading to GeoWoodstock in the USA!

This event is the day before LEC member Rich_F travels to the USA to visit Cincinnati for GeoWoodstock XVI (GC5AX15). Come along and celebrate the LEC heading for the USA's first ever Giga event!

The event will be held at:-

Toby Carvery Redhill

2 Redstone Hill,

Redhill, Surrey, RH1 4BL

From 7-9pm

Parking available on site, and its a very short walk from the rail station if coming by train (leave via the exit on platform 3)

The venue do know we are coming, and we have the seating area to the left as you enter by the front doors reserved from approx 8pm.  I did ask for the reservation before that, but as it's a busy Sunday the venue have only promised the area will be fully clear for us by 8pm. Hence we'll probably be in the area to the left of the front doors, but if not we'll be in the bar somewhere.

Do feel free to turn up before the event starts if you fancy an earlier dinner - as usual there's no obligation. There's a good chance we'll stay on after the event ends too - there's always more geochat to be had :)

There will be an opportunity to swap travelbugs and geocoins - there will also be a special container for any trackables (small items only) that you'd like to go to a Giga or the USA.

You're welcome to bring any ridiculously huge trackables, but please be prepared to take them away afterwards if they don't get a new owner :)

The League Of Extraordinary Cachers

The LEC was formed in 2015 by individual geocachers who decided to form a group, so they could share geocaching adventures and promote geocaching far and wide. The LEC welcomes everybody, whether you've found 1 or 10,000 caches, or you just want to know what geocaching is all about! You'll be made to feel very welcome.
