Mystic Ruins Traditional Cache

 

By the 1990s, Broadhead Manor suffered from a host of problems including vacancy, vandalism, and high crime rates. In 1998, the vast majority of units were torn down, leaving the complex with just 64 units until 2004, when the remnants of Hurricane Ivan blew through the Pittsburgh area. The storm caused massive flooding throughout the region, but was especially devastating in Etna, Millvale, and nearby Carnegie. Floodwaters destroyed what remained of Broadhead Manor, and the complex was condemned. Former residents were eventually relocated and accommodated in scattered-site housing around the city.

 

 

The sidewalks and roads from Broadhead Manor are still existing throughout this plot of land. Fairywood is a generally quiet, uneventful neighborhood despite rumors stating otherwise. I would suggest not doing this cache at night, just to be safe.
