The Tooyama pothole is in the layers of rock of the Tsuki river in Tooyama village under the Ogura castl. While a small stone is turnning around round and round by a current in one bottom place of a river, the stone scrapes a surface of a rock little by little and makes a round hole. There are few potholes in Saitama and the Tooyama pothole is a valuable hole for the standpoint of the earth science. In late years this pothole seems gradually to become popular as a little-known spot-like power spot hall (pothole of the power spot).
小倉城下の遠山集落にある遠山甌穴は、槻川の岩畳にあります。甌穴はポットホールとも呼ばれ、川底で小さな石が水流により一か所でクルクル回るうちに、少しずつその表面を削り、長い年月をかけて出来た丸い穴です。ポットホールは埼玉県内では数が少なく、遠山甌穴は地学的見地からも価値がある甌穴です。
近年、ここは穴場的なパワースポットホール（パワースポットのポットホール）として、徐々に人気が出てきているようです。
