The Ogura castle trace is a mountain castle trace in the age of civil strife and is located on the border of Tokigawa town , Ranzan town and Ogawa town.
But the ｃastle was a natural strong position constructed in the slim hill surrounded by the Tsuki river, it had a big role for a monitoring and a interception of the traffic of the Kamakura Highway. There are eight villums (Kuruwa) in the castle area which is north-south approximately 360m and east-west approximately 110m. The stone wall which is rare in Kanto area is a characteristic of this castle and it remains and are saved in a good condition. The generation and the person of the construction of the castle is missing, but Mitsukage Tooyama who was the whole families of Naokage Tooyama of the Edo castle warden in the age of civil strife acted as the lord of the castle. The Ogura Castle trace was appointed to a national historic landmark as "Hiki castle and house trace group, Ogura castle trace" in 2008. The cache was hidden near the cutting among Kuruwa and Kuruwa.
小倉城跡は、埼玉県比企郡ときがわ町（旧玉川村）、嵐山町、小川町の境界に位置する戦国時代の山城で、大きく蛇行した槻川が囲む細長い丘陵地に築城された天然の要害です。そして、この城は鎌倉街道の要衝にあるため交通の監視や遮断に大きな役割を果たしていました。
この城の城域は南北約360m、東西約110mで、本丸を中心に8つの郭(くるわ)が存在しています。この城の最大の特徴は、関東の城には希な石垣が随所に築かれていることで、この遺構は良好な状態で保存されています。
城の築城年代や築城者は不明ですが、戦国時代の元亀・天正年間には、北条氏の江戸城城代の遠山直景の一族であった遠山光影が城主を務めていました。
また、小倉城は、「比企城館跡群・小倉城跡」として、平成20年に国史跡に指定されました。
