Another in my series, BACK to Nature, is all about my favorite kind of geocaching -- hiking in the woods!!! No drive-bys out here... No park and grabs! No guard rails or skirt-lifters either! They are all hidden in the woods, and will take you on a short to medium hike, where you will experience fresh air, sunshine, a little exercise, and hopefully a great view.
This one will take you on a medium hike down an old recreational road by the lake. The road is paved, but covered by years of falling leaves and other matter. You can park at the gate to the road to begin your journey. You are looking for a pre-form that is hidden in a typical way. Please make sure and re-cover it well enough to keep muggles from finding it.
There is a boat attribute here, but you don't have to have a boat to find this cache. It is short walk up from the lake though, if you happen to come that way!
