Genevieve the Giraffe gobbled greedily and glanced over the gate.
It was a quiet night at the Zoo, but there was a buzz in the air.
The word was spread around - There is a Mega coming to town, and it is in the park right next to us!
The Turtle said, "The last one was a bit far for me to walk, this is a lot closer!".
The Giraffe butted in with, "At least you could lie down sometimes, I would've needed to stand up all the way."
The Platypus said," It was upstream to Alexandra, and many rivers to traverse."
The Python mentioned, "But this one is just a short slither away."
They all agreed with that (although most didn't slither!)
"But how will we know if we can escape that weekend in November?" asked the Koala.
"I know," said the Snake, "We will escape before hand, and hide a short distance away, so we will be ready."
"I'll find some spots on the the bike trails, no-one will ever find us there!"
"Then after the Mega, we will assemble then break back in."
And so it came to pass. One by one the animals snuck out and took up their hiding spots.
Fern (the ZooKeeper) would like you to try and find all the animals. There are ten hiding places.
"You may leave them where they are so they can go to the Mega, but please collect their clues so we can find out where they will end up later."
