**Please properly insert log into container and close tightly (but don't break the O-Ring) and hide back well**
Life hack, roll the log and put it in the cap first and then into the container.
**May need strong fingers/pliers if wood swells**
Being a local to Sarasota, I have seen these areas change on multiple occasions. The last one made it much friendlier for the public.
On that note, I’ve hidden a series (& plan to add more) of caches along many trails.
You can park nearby (plenty of parking & public restrooms). Walk the trail, bike, horse ride, or any other method and have fun
>Most of the caches in this series will be micros or simple logs in a bag unless described as this is a HIGH MUGGLE area and extreme stealth may be needed. PLEASE ENSURE IT IS PLACED BACK CAREFULLY NOT TO FALL OR BE EASILY SEEN.
Can be HOT in the summer, bring fluids & watch your feet if you stand in one place..Fire ants!.
Bring the kids, and watch out for the ants, muggles, birds, snails, mud, critters, flying (sometimes stinging bugs) and horse pies…
