This cache is hidden in one of the rocky bluffs, along the Scarborough Bluffs walking Track. This particular bluff is about 10 m above the track and is easy to get to via a nice flattish grassy area. It is just above head height. It has a waterproof log sheet and is a small pill bottle so you will need to bring your own pen. You can either park up the road at a parking area beside the Rapanui Bush then follow the Scarborough Bluffs Track down towards the cache, or park about 60 m below another entrance to the track on Evans Pass road. Dogs must be on leads as it is part of an active sheep grazing area. I would advise suitable walking or hiking footwear as the track can be muddy and slippery in winter and has some rocky areas to walk over. The grassy area provides a comfortable place to sit and fill in the log, and look across the valley to the Captain Thomas track where mountain bikers will be coping with some very technical sections!
