This cache is about 5m off a walking track that starts on Taylor's Mistake Road and zig zags up the hill to join up with the Scarborough Bluffs Track. It is not as well used as some of the other tracks in the area, but has stiles and doggy gates at each end, so it is user friendly. Please keep dogs on leads though, as it is a sheep grazing area. To get to the start of the track, you will need to park down at Taylor Mistake beach car park, as there is no parking on the road itself. From there you can walk up the road to find the start of the track on your left on the way up. Or, if you like stairs, you can walk along the Taylor's Mistake Walkway from the beach, then up the 193 steps and you will come out just opposite the start of the track. To find the cache, walk about 500m along the track, and it will be above the track. There is a nice flat spot to sit and sign the log, have a picnic and enjoy the view of the beach and Godley Head. As long as the woolly hotel guests haven't left too much mess behind!! Cache container is a camo'd Cookietime bucket, so room for swappable and TBs!
