Geocache Description:

Small black pill type bottle placed in a crevice in the rocks below the track. You need to leave the track and the easiest access is from the beach side of the cache location as there are some suitable sheep tracks to use. It is not dangerous as it is not close to any drop offs. Please replace in the exact same spot, as a handy looking hole to the right of it LOOKS great but it seemingly bottomless! You need to bring your own pen. To get to the cache, you can, walk the Scarborough Bluffs Track from Rapanui Bush where there is room to park, or from access to the track off Evans Pass road, where there is parking on the opposite side of the road, about 60m from the well marked track entrance. If you are keen, try starting at Taylor's Mistake, go up the track that starts by the 193 Steps historic track exit, and keep going, passing a couple of other caches on the way!

Please keep dogs on leads as this is a sheep grazing area. Young children should be well supervised.
