A multi-cache that won't take more than 5 or 6 minutes from beginning to end. Maybe not even that long.
Many will reach this cache by traveling south on Dodson Rd. from Frenchman Hill Rd.
This multi- will afford two opportunites to enjoy a great view of the Royal Slope, the verdant agricultural land that lies between the Frenchman Hills to the north and the Columbia Wildlife Refuge to the south.
While seeking this cache, take a few minutes to look out at the royal view. The view changes with the seasons. There is a lot to take in.
This may be the shortest multi- some cachers have ever completed. Have kept my eyes open for a spot where a cache like this one could be set up for some time. Yes -- it's a little off the beaten path. The awesome view is the main attraction, finding the cache is a nice bonus. But trust me, once you get there -- finding it won't take long.
There is a wide shoulder where a vehicle can pull off at both the beginning and the end. Pull well off the road and set your emergency brake. Once parked, watch for traffic comming from behind. Safety first!
Cache is doable 24/7, but better enjoyed during daylight hours.
