This is a replacement of our previous cache that was vandalised and destroyed. The original cache was hidden in a heavily muggled area so we have located a new cache that, whilst in a busy area, is about 50m away from our original cache and located so that you should be able to sit and retrieve it without drawing too much attention to yourself
This four stage multi will take you on a 1500m stroll mostly along the waters edge commencing next to the end of the runway at Larnaca Airport and cumulating just past the local Fishing Shelter Harbour where, in the mornings, the fishermen can be seen selling their nights catch. Along the way there are ample opportunity for refreshments as there are numerous bars, restaurants, cafés, kiosks and ice cream parlours along the route.
Start at N34 53.219 E033 38 210 that is stage one of this 4-stage multi. There is a number attached to the gate (CG?). Call this A. This is an emergency gate to the airport. There is no need to enter airport land and the gate should not be obstructed in any way
Continue to stage 2 by strolling along the beach to N 34 53.640 E033 38 341. Stand with your back to the sea and directly in front of you on the other side of the road is a bar with a large white sign over the entrance. Find the year when the bar was established and note the penultimate digit and call this B.
Stage 3 can be found at N34 53.879 E033 38.301 where, on the opposite side of the road, you will find a sign that contains the phone number 99 090?18. Call this C. The original Large sign has been removed but there are smaller 'bill boards' outside the Restaurant containing the telephone number but you may need to cross the road to read them.
Continue your stroll, via the fishing shelter, to find the cache which is hidden at N34 AC.021 E033 3B.2BC The cache is a very small magnetic canister containing a log book.
