the mighty has fallen Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LionsLair: This one has come up missing not once, but twice... I have no intention to replace it because folks that move the ammo can to the easy side of the creek for muggles to find and steal... fun while it lasted but you can only blame your fellow cachers whom don't like a challenge or accept terrain and difficulty guidelines...

Geocache Description:

there have been some mighty big trees that have fallen around the park in the past couple years with the drought weaken them and several storms blowing them down, as evidence of this huge red oak shows.

depending on how you approach this cache may depend on the terraine factor. If you are on the wrong side of the creek while hunting, you may make this more difficult than it should be.

many of you know, but for those that don't, seldom if ever is it best to take a direct route to one of my hides. if you do, you've most likely taken the difficult route and will find an easier way out!

 good luck, enjoy the hunt!

a $5 daily park pass is required for each vehicle entering FDR State Park. Please visit friendsofgastateparks.org for information regarding annual passes to GA State Parks
