from the trail above looking down, you can see 4-5 trees with huge rootballs that most likely got blown down from some very strong straight line winds during a severe storm.
before you leave the trail try to figure out which rootball the cache is hidden behind.
depending on how you approach this cache may depend on the terraine factor. I crossed the creek twice and never even had to jump or get my feet wet, but the amount of recent rains will determine how difficult it is for you to cross.
many of you know, but for those that don't, seldom if ever is it best to take a direct route to one of my hides. if you do, you've most likely taken the difficult route and will find an easier way out!
