located off the trail behind the camping area, this cache can be approached from many directions, but I'd suggest using the trail or at minimum, waypointing your way in (taking coordinates of the area you enter the woods from so you don't get turned around and lost trying to get back out)
seeing the cache isn't difficult at all. the difficulty lies in finding an easy route to the cache,as a direct route will surely cause you some grief.
depending on how you approach this cache may depend on the terraine factor. I crossed the creek and never even had to jump or get my feet wet, but the amount of recent rains will determine how difficult it is for you to cross.
many of you know, but for those that don't, seldom if ever is it best to take a direct route to one of my hides. if you do, you've most likely taken the difficult route and will find an easier way out!
a $5 daily park pass is required for each vehicle entering FDR State Park. Please visit friendsofgastateparks.org for information regarding annual passes to GA State Parks
