Looks can be deceiving. You might think this creek is tiny and inconsequential. Looking at a topographical map, you would think this was one of many creeks in the area. However, this northwest-flowing creek is one of the many tributaries known as Bear Creek that joins up with the Nottawasaga River. It is possible for this area to flood depending on the time of year.
Warning: You will need nimble fingers or a log roller to get the log back in the container. Here's how to do it: roll the log up tight, place it in the bottom corner of the bag and roll it up tight, zip the top of the bag shut, stick the empty end of the bag into the lid, place inside container and close container.
Warning: You will need tweezers to get the log out if the previous finder did not get the log back in correctly.
