Walk to the curb and look due north across the street. Now imagine yourself behind the wheel of a white Nissan Altima doing about 80 mph, running the stop sign before you and crossing 17th Street without hitting anything except the steep center divider. The impact takes a big chunk out of the curb and launches you into the second floor of a dental office, narrowly missing a city bus in the process.

CO note: The hole was still visible (but covered with plywood) and the building was red-tagged when this cache was placed. It might be fun to see how long it takes to fix this, if ever, so if you feel inclined, why not post a picture of the repair and remodeling process? Or not. It's all good.
2019 Update: The dentist office is repaired and open for business. The only remaining clue might just be the chunk taken out of the curb.
