This cache can be found on the Te Henga Coastal Walkway which remains open and accessible and is not part of the Auckland Council's plan to closed the forested areas of the Waitakere Ranges.
I couldn't easily find a name for this point, though I'm guessing there might be one out there, otherwise I'll just claim it for myself and get it added to Google Maps.
All signs point to it actually being Te Waharoa Point but if you can't find a new spot without then trying to claim it for yourself then what is the point?

The views here are pretty awesome, but the short trek to this point is along a ridge that requires some care to navigate and should not be attempted in adverse weather conditions etc.
There is also no need to go near any edges to retrieve this cache, it is placed securely away from the rocky part of the point.
