Looking for this cache will bring you to Johnie McKeithen Park in Deerfield Beach. A well kept little park bordering on Hillsboro Canal to the north with many beautiful trees, a walking path with exercise stations, a pavilion, two small playgrounds and a small dock on the north side. There are two entrances to the park; the closest to this hide being the one at intersection of Deerfield Avenue and NE 7th Court but it can be accessed from the other entrance at the corner of NW 1st Terrace and NW 5th Street as well. Plenty of parking at either entrance. Sign says park open "dawn to dusk".
Please bring your own pen or pencil. I have lived in Deerfield Beach for quite a number of years and did not know that this park existed until searching for another geocache, Meddle GC3DZ89 in this park. You should give this one a try too while at the park; it's a fun one!
