Geocache Description:

Shvil Asher is new recreational route in the makes, connecting all kibbutzim, moshavim and villages belonging to the municipality of Mateh Asher.

This geocache is located along the first completed coastal stretch.
The British Look out Post served as a lookout for Haifa port and in 1942 an Italian submarine was spotted ( by looped electrical cables from the look out at the sea bottom ) and sank 10 km  west of Akko harbour. For the interested here is a link (in hebrew)

You can approach from several directions:
Through Bustan Ha Galil find the startpoint of the Shvil which is starts on straight line east of the Look Out post
From Akko going north along the coast you will pick up the marked route near the Look Out post.
The cache is actually hidden under a boulder a little to the south west of the look out. Please cover up and use stealth if necessary!
