Here is a fun spot we hope you enjoy as you Geocache your way up or down the Mississippi Valley.
When we were kids, once a year Dad would load all 10 of us into a borrowed station wagon and we would take a day trip to the St. Louis Zoo. Back then Route 79 was the most direct route from Quincy to STL. It was also before there was a "WATER UNSAFE FOR DRINKING" sign. And, oh yeah, the park was better maintained.
We always stopped here for a break. I (nostalgically) recall that was the sweetest water to ever quench a thirst.
