MJBinski: The event concluded over a week ago. It was an overwhelming success. Thanks to everyone who attended. I couldn't be happier with the amount of trash we collected and disposed of. Great job, NoVAGO!

Geocache Description:

"The Shoveler" Needs A CITO!

The Date:

3/18/2018 (Sunday)

The Place:

Fairfax Co. Trail next to Walgreens (Lorton, VA)

The Time:

10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon

"The Shoveler" needs a CITO!  The Fairfax County trail located next to the Walgreens is a disaster.  I was recently caching in this area and felt the urge to host my first CITO!  This area really needs a pick up!  Now, you won't earn a souvenir for attending or anything like that, but this a great chance to do something good for the community.  I hope to see many in attendance!  This is an event that "The Shoveler" (TP711) can walk to, so he better be there!  Trash bags, gloves, etc., will be provided, but supplies are limited so please feel free to bring whatever you might be able to spare (or think you may need).

Permission to conduct this clean-up, to park in the Walgreens parking lot, and to use the dumpsters once clean up is completed was granted by Walgreens Manager Sarhan Mansour - (571) 642-0103.
