Giles Strangways first surveyed this area in 1871.The permanent presence of water in Appila Springs was important to the first settlers particularly during the summer when water was scarce.The springs support many plants, insects, birds and animals.
There are camp areas for tents and vans, toilets, seating and information bays. Please enjoy your visit and bring your own firewood if you are staying.
