CINAPC. You will have to solve a simple puzzle to get the coordinates for the cache contaner, which is a micro, so BYOP.
Who hasn't played Monopoly? Very few of us, I would imagine. I grew up in southern Florida and hurricanes were time for marathon monopoly games, with house rules established to prolong the game. I tend to take the game too seriously, so not many people will play with me.
The game we know as Monopoly started back in 1902, with a game then called "The Landlord's game." The game was created by Elizabeth Magie to illustrate the economic consequences of Georgist concepts of economics. A series of board games involving the buying and selling of land and developing of that land followed over the next 3 decades. Charles Darrow, the man wrongly credited with inventing the game (he did manage to get a copyright on it in 1933), tried to sell the idea to toy companies Milton Bradley and Parker Brothers, but both rejected the game as too complicated. Darrow actually 'borrowed' the idea for the game from some friends with whom he regularly played the game. After the rejection from the toy companies, Darrow continued to make the games at home and sell them through local stores. After several months of watching the popularity of the game soar, Parker Brothers saw the light and bought the rights from Darrow in 1935. Something of a small skirmish occurred over the next few months as Parker Brothers sorted out the various claims to the creation of the game. They eventually bought the rights to Magie's 1924 patent, and by late 1935, Parker Brothers had a, well, Monopoly on the game.
Here is the puzzle. All questions refer to the classic/standard edition of the game:
