Periodically, I dogsit a Cairns Terrier named Casey. He has quite the personality, and does more of what he wants than what I want him to do. Yet ... he waits for me patiently when I do leave for work, Like A Stone. He haphazardly found this hiding spot while trying to find a place to do his nature's business.
While I love Casey, I also love Audioslave's song, Like A Stone. The late, great Chris Cornell sang it while he was with the band.
So this cache waits for you, like a stone, alone until you find it. You can park on 15th St NE, but NOT on Lundeen Parkway! Lundeen Parkway is a very busy road most days, but there's enough cover to conceal your activity from Muggles walking by with or without their dogs. The cache is large enough to hold TBs, SWAG, and so much more!
KCCO (Keep Calm and Cache On) - Congratulations to MaddiesDaddy for FTF!
The following are the lyrics to the song if you're unfamiliar with it.
On a cobweb afternoon
In a room full of emptiness
By a freeway I confess
I was lost in the pages
Of a book full of death
Reading how we'll die alone
And if we're good, we'll lay to rest
Anywhere we want to go
In your house I long to be
Room by room patiently
I'll wait for you there
Like a stone
I'll wait for you there
Alone
On my deathbed I will pray
To the gods and the angels
Like a pagan to anyone
Who will take me to heaven
To a place I recall
I was there so long ago
The sky was bruised
The wine was bled
And there you led me on
In your house I long to be
Room by room patiently
I'll wait for you there
Like a stone
I'll wait for you there
Alone
Alone
And on I read
Until the day was gone
And I sat in regret
Of all the things I've done
For all that I've blessed
And all that I've wronged
In dreams until my death
I will wander on
In your house I long to be
Room by room patiently
I'll wait for you there
Like a stone
I'll wait for you there
Alone
Alone
