As we were walking around the island our meeting group got split up this was the point where we all met back up again, nice little crossroad with a beautiful view.
Motuihe Island is currently being replanted with native plants and repopulated with native birds and is administered by the Motuihe Trust. Now you can visit and listen to the beautiful sounds of hte birds, at this junction you have the choice of walking through the release area.
