SCBD or Sudirman Central Business District is a small neighborhood with an integrated mix use development concept, located in South Jakarta. It consists of condominiums, office buildings, hotels, shopping and enetertainment centers. The SCBD has more green space than usual, nice pavements to walk, and a beer garden.
The total area of SCBD is about 45 hectare, and is divided into 25 lots. About 13 hectares of the district are used to develop road network and landscaping. SCBD is located within the Golden Triangle of Jakarta (Segitiga Emas Jakarta). This is a roughly traingular shaped area of Jakarta, which extends from Central Jakarta to South Jakarta. There are seven entry and exit points from SCBD to different avenues of Jakarta. Most of the office buildings in the district are connected by underground pedestrian links.
The cache is located on a big parking lot which is not very crowded during the evening or on Sundays. Lovely to walk or just sit down on the grass after a Car Free Day (CFD) walk on Sundays.
