360 acres of open rolling hills, wooded forests and a three-acre lake. The park is also an important element of the Centennial Boulevard System.
The park has a 2 mile trail that winds the way through 270 species of plants. Many of these are in bloom between May and the Fall. Jerry Smith Park contains the largest remaining tract of remnant prairie on the Missouri side of the metro and the only one in the city limits of Kansas City, MO.
