The Bob Hunter Memorial Park celebrates a Canadian Hero – Bob Hunter, who was an environmental champion, journalist and author who worked tirelessly to protect biodiversity and celebrate nature. He was a co-founder of Greenpeace in 1971 and its first president.
The park features hiking and biking trails, a nature trail, and restored wetlands and replanted native woodlands.
At the time of this cache's creation, the Park is under the jurisdiction of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority. Permission has been obtained.
