Geocache Description:

Tip of the Spear
I provided waypoints to help you navigate to the cache. There is a paved parking lot and trailhead off Buckingham. Follow the Back 40 trail until you see the sign for Tip of the Spear trail and take it north.
If you have a 4x4, you can take the "road' to the Jeep parking waypoint. Bushwhack around 20 yards to the Tip of the Spear trail. 🏹 ➳
I also provided 2 waypoints where a boat or kayak can enter the water and paddle to GZ (Bella Vista POA permit required to boat on the lake), also added the boat attribute. 🚣‍♀️
The Tip of the Spear trail meanders along the bluffs towards the lake. There is a red bench near a location known as Walker Shelter. The cache is hidden in the rocks 20ft behind the bench. You are looking for a small container with enough room for swag and trackables, BYOP.
Yield to Mountain Bikers, they can be tearing down the trail and may not have a lot of time to react.
Link to additional info about Walker Shelter which is an American Indian Archeological site. Area is protected, digging or taking artifacts from area are serious crimes!
