Join us as we help clean up Village Park and help celebrate April CITO week! Anyone who helps out at this event will earn a "CITO Week - April 2018" souvenir.
We will meet at the posted coordinates on Saturday, April 21st from 10 A.M. until noon. From there you can grab your trash bags and any other materials you may need. Our focus will be picking up any trash located along the water, but you are free to wander the trails and grab any there if you'd like. Latex gloves will be provided, but it's recommended you bring your own heavy duty pair. Any trash we collect will be left at the dumpster behind the library for pick up by the town the next day.
This event is being held with support from the Swansea Conservation Commission, and their efforts for keeping this area clean are much appreciated! It is also part of a Swansea town wide clean-up that kicks off at 8:30 from behind the Town Hall/Public Library. We are starting at 10 behind the Jr. High. We hope to see you there to help lend a hand!
