Geocache Description:

Family-friendly cache that is a short, easy walk from parking. Always be on the lookout for Arizona critters, esp snakes. This cache is dedicated to Ed Schieffelin, founder of Tombstone. When Ed said he was headed to the hills to find his fortune, naysayers quipped, 'Ed, the only stone to be found out there is your own tombstone'. He ended up striking silver, and the rest, they say, is history. Schieffelin Hall is the largest standing adobe structure still in use in the United States southwest. It was built in 1881 by Albert Schieffelin, brother of Ed Schieffelin, and William Harwood as a first class opera house, theater, recital hall, and a meeting place for Tombstone citizens. Please google location for more info. *A special thank you to Gordon Anderson, owner of the Larian Motel, for allowing this cache to be placed on his property. Please be respectful of motel guests. Please RAF to keep muggles away.
