"From now on 'mint tin' is a banned description... Everyone must use 'The Bebe Ammo Can.' I might even place a new cache to help spread the word. In fact, everyone should!"
The Bebes -GC7JTR5
Who would dare resist such a cri du coeur??!! The humble 'mint tin' has been elevated to a new status. Once merely a throw out container for breath-fresheners, or the plaything of trolls under bridges, this insignificant metal shell has now become a shining Sangreal, inspiring questing knights and ladies to noble feats of derring-do... or in this case providing an excuse to go to the beach.
So, I'm obediently placing a transmogrified mint tin at the far end of my favourite bit of seaside. This is a fun spot to swim, picnic, paddleboard or just sit and enjoy the birdlife - which includes gulls, sulphur crested cockatoos in abundance, kookaburras, bush turkeys and floopling doves (crested pigeons which make a floopling sound when they take off).
This cache is dedicated to the goddess of the moon, witchcraft and nature, associated with the mythical 'golden bough', wild animals, and woodland. This multi-tasking deity is also goddess of the hunt and the crossroads - personifying the existential search for meaning and geocaches.
