Geocache Description:

Thanks to NASA’s Juno spacecraft, we now know that Jupiter’s Great Red Spot penetrates well below the clouds. Researchers presented their latest findings about our solar system’s largest planet in December 2017 at the annual American Geophysical Union meeting in New Orleans. The Great Red Spot is a giant oval of crimson-colored clouds in Jupiter's southern hemisphere with wind speeds greater than any storm on Earth. Measuring 10,000 miles (16,000 kilometers) in width as of April 3, 2017, the Great Red Spot is 1.3 times as wide as Earth. The fifth planet from the Sun, and the most massive in our solar system, has a long history surprising scientists—all the way back to 1610 when Galileo Galilei found the first moons beyond Earth. That discovery changed the way we see the universe.

Cache is NOT at posted coordinates.

To get the coordinates for the cache you will have to answer questions about Jupiter below and solve the following

N 43 06.ABC W 076 07.XYZ

Of the four giant planets in our solar system(Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, & Uranus), Jupiter is the only one without a ring system.

  • True (ABC=212)
  • False (ABC=236)In 1979 the Voyager mission discovered Jupiter’s faint ring system. All four giant planets in our solar system have ring systems.

Jupiter's atmosphere is made up mostly of hydrogen (H2) and helium (He).

  • True (XYZ=751)- BTW - Same goes for Saturn.
  • False (XYZ=690)

Congratulations to LCSM on this FTF.
