Geocache Description:

Salamanders are amphibians. Related to frogs and toads. They have a lizard-like appearance with slender bodies, blunt snouts, short limbs projecting at right angles to the body, and a tail.

Lizards are reptiles. They typically have four legs, feet, and external ears, though some are legless. While snakes lack both of these characteristics. Both amphibians and reptiles depend upon their environment to regulate their internal temperature and are considered cold-blooded.

My son Robby and I use to find salamanders here, just across the street from our house.  I'm putting out some caches in honor of my children and the fun things we use to do, like finding lizards, salamanders, frogs, toads, and snakes.p>

You are looking for a LIZARD here! But WE found Salamanders at this location!

While both lizards and salamander's  diets consist primarily of insects, this lizard may have swallowed a bison, (hee hee). Please return the bison to his belly and place back where you found him, hidden in the ivy. Note: this is not poison ivy, but English Ivy.  Although there could be poison ivy around so watch out for that.

Always watch out for muggles so this lizard doesn't go missing AND CITO. I pick up litter all the time here. It just keeps coming back.

CONGRATS to DRUMBUM14 on FTF!
