The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) programme aims to detect intelligent life outside of Earth. One approach, known as ‘radio SETI’, uses radio telescopes to listen for narrow-bandwidth radio signals from space. Anyone with an internet-connected computer can participate in the data analysis as a form of citizen science.
An anomalous radio signal has recently been received from within the constellation Cacheiopeia and it seems that geo-aliens have left a geocache on Earth; but can you work out where?

Waypoint averaging on a Garmin 62ST has been used to set the co-ordinates, but tree cover could be problematic, especially at certain times of the year. Parking details and trailhead are in the checker. Wellies are highly recommended after heavy rain as it can get muddy on the way to GZ.
