🇫🇮11-11 Challenge - Platinum haastekätkö
Esikuviensa GC6Y2F9, GC6ZBXW ja GC5GP8Q mukaisesti tavoitteena on kannustaa etsimään paljon eri kätkötyyppejä matkaillessasi ulkomailla :)
Logataksesi kätkön, sinun tulee täyttää seuraavat ehdot:
- Vähintään yksi löytölokkaus 11:stä eri kätkötyypistä(*).
- Nämä löytölokkaukset tulee olla 11:stä eri maasta
(*) Haasteessa hyväksyttävät kätkötyypit: Kaikki muut paitsi Lab Cachet ja Locationless (Reverse) Cachet
Haasteessa ei ole aikarajoja. Kaikki entiset, nykyiset ja tulevat kätköt lasketaan mukaan haasteen suoritukseen. Maan määritelmä menee geocaching.com:n mukaisesti, eli myös tietyt ei-itsenäiset alueet (esim. Ahvenanmaa, Falkland Islands) lasketaan maiksi.
Kätkö on annetuissa koordinaateissa ja purkki jos saarelle pääsyn T5:ttä ei lasketa, purkki on ~D1/T3.5 - D2.5/T4.5 väliltä, henkilöstä, kokemuksesta ja fiiliksestä riippuen. Jätä onki kotiin, sillä siitä ei tällä kätköllä ole apua :-/ Ota lisäksi kynä mukaan, sillä se purkista puuttuu.
Mikäli käyt kätköllä ennen kuin haasteen ehdot täyttyvät, voit tehdä Write note -merkinnän kätkön sivulle. Haasteen ehtojen täyttymisen voit tarkistaa tästä.
Haasteen sijainti: kätkö on sijoitettu "haastesaareen", eli paikkaan, jonne on myös haastava päästä, ja jolla sekä haasteesta että itse purkista saadaan D5/T5. Tämä varmasti jakaa mielipiteitä, mutta mielestäni haasteen "haasteen" ei suinkaan tarvitse loppua haasteen ehtojen suoritukseen, vaan purkilla käynti saa olla myös oma lukunsa haasteen loppun saattamiseksi.
🇬🇧 11-11 Challenge - Platinum Challenge cache
Following its predecessors GC6Y2F9, GC6ZBXW ja GC5GP8Q it motivates you to find different cache types when travelling abroad.
Requirements to fulfill for logging this cache as Found:
- You must have minimum one find from 11 different cache types(*).
- These finds must be from 11 different countries.
(*) Accepted cache types: All other types except Lab Caches and Locationless (Reverse) Caches.
This challenge has no time limits: all past/current/future caches are accepted for fulfilling the requirements. The definition of country follows geocaching.com definition, and is not limited to independent states - e.g. Åland island, Falkland Islands, etc, are accepted as separate countries.
The cache is hidden in given coordinates and the container is (excluding T5 island location) between ~D1/T3.5 - D2.5/T4.5 depending on your point of view. Cache cannot be obtained from the ground but only by climbing :-/ Currently the cache does not contain a pen so take one with you before heading up
If you visit the cache before fulfilling the requirements, feel free to log your visit with "Write note".

The location of the challenge: The cache is placed - in purpose - to a "challenge island" ;) which is rather difficult to reach. The reasoning is that now both the challenge and the cache are truly D5/T5. Althought this will divide opinions, from my PoV by making the cache also difficult to reach the hiding place of the cache is truly worth the challenge.
