Geocache Description:

The park is open until 6:00pm, so please be sure to visit before that time.  Please leave everything as it was and be sure to leave the cache well hidden as this place is visited by many muggles.  Use stealth.  Happy caching and Good Luck!!

The city of San Juan is a place full of history and interesting places to visit.  El Parque de las Palomas (Pigeon Park) is one of those places.  With spectacular views of the bay, Parque de Las Palomas is a great place to spend the afternoon taking pictures and feeding the pigeons with the kids. El Parque de las Palomas was originally a rampart for Cannon emplacement and it was constructed during the 18th century.  The park receives its name from the hundreds of pigeons that live there.

Right next to the park entrance, are other interesting places to visit like the Santo Cristo de la Salud Chapel.  The story tells of a boy that was going to die on a horse race when he lost control.  When the horses where about to go down from the cliff at the end of the street , he shouted "Santo Cristo de la Salud please save me" and the boy was miracously saved from the accident without a scratch.  The chapel was built on the edge of the cliff and many people came to pray to be save from illness by making offerings.  Some said its not true, that the the boy did died at the accident.  Look for the story and visit the chapel.

The cache is a special container and has a rose coin for the FTF and some goodies for exchange.  To find this cache, you need to solve the puzzle by getting the answers to the questions.  The answers are at the park.  Get to the posted cordinates and look at the park sign.  The answers to the first three questions are in that sign.  The answer to the fourth question is at another sign to the left of the posted cordinates.  That other sign tells the story of the first woman mayor of San Juan and what she did for the children of the city.

To get the final cordinates, solve the ecuation below:

N18 27.ABC, W066 07.0D

A = In what century was the park built? Century number - 10

B = The quantity of places that the sign mentions or describes besides the park itself.  Do not count the park, just the other places mentioned on the sign.  Quantity - 2.

C = The last digit of the quantity of books written before the year 1501.

D = At what age did Doña Felisa Rincon died?  Age + 1.
