I started the Johnny Appleseed series about three months ago as I watched my caching karma droop over the years, and felt the need to give back, and explore the local trails in a different perspective. Since those 50 caches were placed, my karma has doubled from 0.35 to over 0.70, so I'm starting round two, sprinkling caches along the trails just a bit farther from home.
This cache is off the Black Mountain Trail, heading towards Hidden Villa. There are trails to the cache, but not highly traveled ones. Adding 0.5 to the terrain for the random trail searching required. Start by turning right at the sign shown below. Eventually you'll come across what appears to be an open outhouse. I thought this might be a crappy place for a cache, but it appears to be unused for quite some time. 
You'll know when you're at the right spot, but check the hint if needed. You'll also get some nice views to the west over Hidden Villa.
