I started the Johnny Appleseed series about three months ago as I watched my caching karma droop over the years, and felt the need to give back, and explore the local trails in a different perspective. Since those 50 caches were placed, my karma has doubled from 0.35 to over 0.70, so I'm starting round two, sprinkling caches along the trails just a bit farther from home.
This cache is literally directly above the Black Mountain Trail, nearly halfway up the trail towards the mountain peak. There is no need to leave the trail. The name is supposed to make you think of this scene, but really it is an explicit hide hint. How much more help do you need? 
If the answer is more, check the hint. Please reattach as found, and be gentle with the removal, I'm not sure how well I got it attached upon the latest maintenance.
