Geocache Description:

This series of caches will take you around Redgrave and Lopham Fen. This dramatic fenland landscape is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and the source of the River Waveney which flows east towards Great Yarmouth. On your way round you may spot the Konik ponies which are used to graze the fen.

The route follows the whole of the Spider Trail and parts of the Woodland and Waveney Trails and can be broken up into smaller sections. The trails are marked on the map on #1 where you will also find parking information. Most caches are close to a path.

The hides are varied in size, type and difficulty and you will need to bring tweezers and a pen. We do hope you will enjoy this new series!

We have been fortunate in being granted permission by  Suffolk Wildlife Trust to place caches on this SSSI. Please keep your dogs on a lead and respect the environment.  For more information on the reserve please visit http://www.suffolkwildlifetrust.org/redgrave
