The HHT was created to take you to places you probably have gone by many times without knowing it was part of Harford County’s history. Graystone Lodge is an example of a pre-Civil War coachbuilders shop. Built with Quaker stone, it has been dated back to 1781. This shop was strategically located to serve travelers on the Baltimore and Harford turnpike. It was later converted to a motor lodge and restaurant to serve automobile traffic.
