The University grounds are open to the public - do have a wander around the wonderful lake, steep crags and enclosed courtyards of the buildings. There are more than a few caches on the site - take the tour around them!
The view here is fantastic, changing by the seasons. There are close by points of interest (Wallace Monument) and more distant features (can you tell which hill is Ben Lomond?). The space is ideal for a sit and watch the world with a cuppa in hand - do bring a flask.
Do treat the space with respect - please do not park on University property, keep any dogs on leads, and take any rubbish home (including any you find). There are often groups out learning in the area - fieldwork for students and local schools, again please be aware they are there and do not reveal the cache.
New cache box July 2024 - please message me if cache needs work/repair/replacement. (-:
